Log Power FFT (log_power_fft_app)

Compute the power spectrum of received signals.

Description

To support the satellite mission, processing the received signals on the up-link with 20 MHz of RF bandwidth directly on the FPGA enables efficient on-board computation of the power log of the FFT. By handling these computations in orbit, we free up valuable satellite resources and significantly reduce the amount of data that needs to be transmitted to the ground station, optimizing mission efficiency.

Hardware Portability

This application is designed to run on ADALM-PLUTOSDR.

Build the project level prerequisites for targeted hardware RCC platform.

Command(s)

./log_power_fft_app on the target hardware.

Verification

Able to navigate to 192.168.2.1:8000 and visually see plotted spectrum.
